CPR 'The Golden Northwest' poster
This is a silkscreened reproduction on art paper of a large lithographed advertisement calling prospective settlers to take the Canadian Pacific Railway to Winnipeg and the 'boundless wheatfields' of Manitoba. In six colours and shades - an extremely fine example of poster advertising from the 1880's. Measures 35" x 13". Bought directly from the CP Bygones store in the mid 1970's. Will be mailed in a heavy cardboard tube.
