Canadian Pacific Railway Cheese Scoop
(bought directly from CPR in the mid 70's)
This item was bought directly from Canadian Pacific Railway in the 1970's when they exited the passenger train business. They sold all of their silverware used in their dining cars through their own shop called 'CP Bygones'.
This long handled heavy scooped bladed spoon was used for scooping cheese from containers for use in serving cheeses such as Stilton. 8" long. Not re-plated. Shows light use. Has CPR script logo on top of handle (see photo #2) and 'Elkington Plate' with two emblems on the underside of the handle (see photo #3).
Very hard to find as this item was only listed in their two of their Bygones catalogues.
