Canadian Pacific Railway After Dinner Spoon
(bought directly from CPR in the mid 70's)
This item was bought directly from Canadian Pacific Railway in the 1970's when they exited the passenger train business. They sold all of their silverware used in their dining cars through their own shop called 'CP Bygones'.
This 3 1/4" long spoon was purchased directly from CP Bygones and stored for 35 years by this seller. The spoon is in very good 'in use' shape (not replated) and has no pitting. Has CPR script logo at base of handle (see photo #2). With 'Elkington Plate - A.T. Wiley-Montreal' in raised lettering on the underside of the handle (see photo #3). Have more than one. One of the rarer items today from the era of fine dining on the CPR.
